Been playing waaay too much Sonic Riders. Both of them. Not necessarily a bad thing though. I just love them birdies.

Anyhoo, speaking of Babylonians, I've been reading the Archie Sonic comics for awhile now, and lately it seems almost every issue people are asking for the Babylonians to show up again (they were in issues 163 and 164), and it doesn't seem likely that it will be anytime soon (you know the peeps at Archie plan at least a couple years or more ahead for their story arcs). So, I've decided I'm going to work on my own Babylon arc, taking place before/after the events of Zero Gravity (I'm going to make everything tie in though, from the games and whatnot), and try to write a story in an Archie style.

I've already got tons of bird characters (not all of them are Babylonians but some are), plots, sub-plots, and tons of concept art. Though I am far from done. And I prolly won't be posting any of it up here any time soon (that should be no surprise, since I barely post anymore as it is). But it is my most current project, and my lil sister (GO LOOK AT HER ARTS, IT'S WORTH LOOKING AT<3<3) is helping me in her own way (like coloring and such).

Moving on, I suppose the reason I'm doing this is because I hope to show these ideas to Archie (more specifically Ian Flynn, the writer of the Sonic comics currently), to try and help them out because I think it would be an interesting idea at least to have the Babylonians get their own spotlight outside of the games because there is so much interesting backstory to them that can be built on and that's what I'm hoping to accomplish. Since they seem to be fairly popular, personally I think it would be awesome to see their own side-comic, or at least their own arc within Sonic Universe comics. I know, I'm a weirdo. I just hope that all made sense.

In a way, it's kinda a good thing I suppose, learning how to draw Anthro type stuff. Been drawing Pokemon enough I'm confident in my animal-drawing skeelz. I haven't stopped drawing people, I'm just taking a break from it.




Now, for what's going on in my life... hrm... not much different I suppose: still working at the library, drawing in my spare time, playing video games, reading (books and comics), researching, studying, eating, sleeping, pooping, etc.
........Christmas is approaching fast!! AGHHH!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!




....So yeah, lemme know what you all think, I would love to hear some input on my Babylon idea from those of you who care or know what I'm talking about.
